We offer sturdy Diaper Service Quality (DSQ) prefolds from Green Earth Textiles with a middle layer of 8 ply and sides of 4 ply each. When folded in thirds, our prefolds offer 16 layers of soft, absorbent cotton!
Our prefolds are 100% unbleached cotton.
Toddler prefolds are recommended for toddlers and children weighing at least 30 pounds or more.
Most toddlers up to apx 40 pounds do well with the premium size prefolds, whereas the toddler size is best for larger, older toddlers and preschool age bed-wetters.

Prefold Care:
Wash and dry on hot at least three to five (3-5) times before first use.
Store soiled diapers in a dry diaper pail. We use a tall kitchen trash can as our diaper pail.
Knock solids into toilet before washing. (A diaper sprayer is helpful) This is not necessary for exclusively breastfed babies.
On laundry day, run a cold rinse cycle without detergent (or just a dash of detergent) first.
Follow rinse with a hot wash/cold rinse cycle. Use 1/2 the manufacturer's recommended detergent ( or 1/4 for an HE/Front loader).
An extra rinse is recommended.
Dry on medium/hot or hang to dry.
Detergent Recommendations: Country Save, Planet, Mountain Green Free & Clear or Baby, Allens Naturally, Tide (use extra rinse!)
Avoid: Fabric softeners, regular use of bleach, Dreft, Ivory Snow, 7th Generation, All Free & Clear or Baby, Sport-Wash, Sensi-Clean
