At Simple Cloth we recognize the need for a diaper designed specifically for newborns. The bumGenius extra-small all-in-one diaper is intended for use with babies weighing between 6 - 12 pounds. It is cut slightly lower in the front to sit below the naval, keeping the delicate umbilical area dry.

    The simple one-step system of bumGenius all-in-ones is an ideal solution for busy families or those resistant to cloth diapers.  It really is as easy to use as a disposable diaper! Put it on your baby, wash, dry and re-use. No extra steps. No folding. No stuffing. No cover required. 

   bumGenius all-in-one diapers have the highly acclaimed Cotton Babies microfiber sewn into place as the soaker.  Often touted as the most absorbent, effective all-in-one diaper on the market, the bumGenius AIO usually only needs extra absorbency added for long naps or overnight use.  When increased absorbency is required, we recommend lining the diaper with a Hemp Babies Little Weeds.  

    Just like bumGenius one-size pocket diapers, the suedecloth liner of these all-in-one diapers keeps your baby's skin dry.  They also feature stretchy tabs for easy diaper changes and a comfortable fit for baby.

Care Instructions

- Shake solids into toilet.  (Not necessary for exclusively breastfed babies.)


- Fasten tabs to laundry tabs on inside of diaper.

- We recommend a cold rinse cycle in plain water first. 

- Follow with a hot wash / cold rinse cycle. (up to 150 degrees)  Use only 1/4 to 1/2 of the recommended amount of any regular detergent.  Avoid pure soap or baby detergents such as Ivory or Dreft. 

- An extra rinse is recommended.

- Tumble dry medium. Avoid fabric softeners.

- Avoid creams and ointments.
